Creative Kids

 Ages 5 - 8 | Tuesdays 5-6pm

Young artists will explore new media and develop their artistic skills through direct instruction and individual feedback.  A variety of drawing materials will be used to create effective works of art.  The wonders of watercolour will be introduced using simple, effective methods. This course enriches creativity, concentration and problem solving.

Fees: $140.00 + HST (Members Rate), $165.00 + HST (Non-Members Rate)

Please Note:

• Students to supply their own sketch book
• $20.00 material fee is included
• A minimum of six artists per class is required.  Maximum class size 12 students. 

The Brush of Experience! - Introducing Nancy Newman

Nancy is an award winning artist and teacher whose work has been widely exhibited. She is an experienced arts educator who has worked with children, teens and adults to develop creativity and artistic skills. Nancy is the Chairperson of the Society of York Region Artists and the Vice President of the Toronto Watercolour Society. She is an instructor for Nipissing University, Haliburton School of the Arts and the Town of Aurora. Nancy is pleased to be able to offer art classes at Timberlane Athletic Club starting in January 2010.
