Junior Emergency Response
The Junior Emergency Response program is designed to train children ages 7-11 what to do in a real emergency! Children can save lives and this program gives them the required skills and knowledge to deal with common emergency situations. The program works closely with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and as such children are introduced to heart disease and stroke. 90 minutes of valuable training specifically for children!
First Responder Certificate
The First Responder Emergency First Aid Certificate course is a six hour program for ages 12+. The course includes the Heart Saver Plus CPR course and Emergency First Aid. Topics include victim assessment, unconsciousness, shock and trauma, rescue breathing, disease transmission, choking, bleeding and burns. Life threatening situations are discussed as well as the EMS (Emergency Medical Services) system.

adult emergency training course
This comprehensive six-hour adult certification course deals with immediate life-threatening situations as well as the Emergency Medical Services system and common First Aid emergencies. The course includes the Heart Saver Plus CPR course, Emergency First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator training. Topics include victim assessment, unconsciousness, shock and trauma, rescue breathing, disease transmission, legalities, choking, bleeding and burns as well as how and when to use an AED. The program is suited to those with or without previous training.
paediatric cpr training
This 2-hour CPR program teaches parents and caregivers how to recognize and react to paediatric emergency situations.
Topics Include:
- recognition for heart attack and respiratory arrest
- how to perform CPR on children and infants
- how to clear airway obstructions in children and infants (choking)
- prevention and education to common childhood injuries and promoting safety and healthy lifestyles
- the EMS System and Chain of Survival
- the ABC's
- heart attack and stroke and definition of Sudden Death
